A few thoughts on the game, Malki is gymnastics for the brain, definitely an exercise in strategic and dialectical thinking. Malki presents itself primarily as a battle. But is it a war game? Yes and no. Malki is no doubt a tactical battle, a battle of strategies and in that sense the Art of War, with the emphasis on 'art'. As you get the hang of the game, you will experience that the game is also a narrative, a masquerade, a riddle, a maze. With game dynamics that are quite different whether you play the basic game or the expert version, not to mention the variants added by Malki players, all of which bring a new touch to the game. Malki is a game full of magic. A wonder-ful game, full of wonder, that is. But, what is that, magic? As we imagine it, magic is the arrival of the unexpected, the appearance of the unthinkable, the thinking of the unfathomable. Just when you thought you'd seen it all, a new shape, a different guise appears. Well, Malki is all that. Besides, where there are magicians, there is magic. :-p The Malki game will transform (you) as you play it; you discover other game mechanisms and create new modalities. As you dig deeper, you'll discover Malki's beautiful chemistry and the simple complexity of the game. Or was it Malki's complex simplicity?
